Welcome to the Currumbin Kids Club

VisionOur vision is to provide a high standard of care to children of primary school age.
MissionIn order to achieve our vision, our mission is to provide an affordable service that encompasses high quality care, programs that engage children and encourage a safe environment for learning.
Aim We aim to obtain an “Exceeding National QA Standard” rating as part of the “National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education & Care”, by continued staff development and programs facilitated to encourage our children to participate in varying activities to promote development and social awareness amongst their peers.

Hours of Operation

Monday to FridayBefore School Care:6.30am - 8.30 am (during school term)
After School Care:2.45pm - 6.00 pm (during school term)
Vacation Care:6.30am - 6.00 pm (during school holidays)
Pupil Free Days:6.30am - 6.00 pm (on designated days)
We do not operate on Public Holidays. We operate vacation care for one week at the end of term 4. *CKC closes for two weeks during the Christmas & New Year holiday. In 2025, we will be closed from Monday, 22nd December 2025 and we will reopen for vacation care in 2026 on Monday, 5th January.
Our Fees
If you receive CCS, you will only be responsible for the gap fee. Read more about the Child Care Subsidy payments here.
Permanent weekly or fortnightly bookings:Before School Care: $26 / session After School Care: $33 / session
Casual bookings:Before School Care: $31 / session After School Care: $38 / session Vacation Care: $67 + daily activity fee Other fees: Family Enrolment Fee: $30 per family upon initial enrolment Annual Administration Fee: $15 per family Non-booking Fee: $20 plus session fee Non-cancellation fee: $20 plus session fee Late collection fee: $30 for first 15 minutes + $2/min thereafter Cancellation Policy:Casual bookings: 24 hours prior to start of session will not incur a fee.Permanent bookings: 2 weeks notice to cancel/amend bookings.Vacation Care: 1 week prior to the start of the vacation care period. This date will be noted on the front page of the vacation care program, our newsletter and emails in the lead-up to vacation care. *Fees effective as of 02/09/2024

Xplor Home app

Currumbin Kids Club is transitioning to the new Xplor system. Xplor's Parent app, Home, allows you make bookings, sign your child in and out, track your child's learning journey, view incident reports and receive notifications. <--- Click on the logo to learn more.
Registering for Xplor Home in 3 Simple Steps
Step 1For NEW children not previously enrolled with Currumbin Kids Club, click on the New Child Waitlist button at the top of the page
Step 2 Complete the information and tell us about you, your child and what bookings you are after.
Step 3If you have requested a permanent booking, we will come back to you and advise if we have a spot available for your child. If we can accommodate your request, we will send you a link to our enrolment. *Please note, we can't accept your child, until their enrolment has been completed and signed.
​Looking for a Casual Day? Once your child is enrolled at our service, you can request a booking via the Xplor Home App. Click on the Bookings icon in the app, select the date, click (+) New at the top of the screen. Follow the prompts. In the comments field, you can write "BSC" or "ASC" or "VC" dependent upon what session you are booking. We are then notified and can accept your request. If we are unable to accommodate your child, you will receive a rejection notification.

Management Committee

A parent sub-committee supports the P&C as Licensee with the day to day running of the Currrumbin Kids Club. Members of the sub-committee must be members of the school P&C. The election of the sub-commitee is held at the OSHC meeting following the P&C AGM (generally in March). If you are interested in attending the next sub-committee meeting or becoming a member of the sub-committe and P&C , please contact the Coordinator or contact the P&C direct at pandc@currumbinss.eq.edu.au
